Ready access to your funds is one of Defence Bank’s key concerns. We offer the customer service of a smaller organisation, but with the reach of one that’s considerably larger.

No matter where you are, we’re there with you – and so is the ability for you to access your cash.

Banking remotely.

If you are self-isolating or choosing to minimise contact with the public, Defence Bank provides a number of convenient options to manage your everyday banking without the need to visit a branch.

These include:
  • Our award-winning mobile banking app. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, you should. It allows you to make payments by BPay, to send and receive money instantly using Osko and PayID, to change your PIN, report your card lost or stolen as well as a range of other options.
  • Access your money 24/7 safely and securely through online banking.
  • Our Australia-based Contact Centre on 1800 033 139.
  • All five digital wallet options which allow you to contactless pay using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Garmin and Fitbit Pay;
  • You can withdraw cash for free from any of the ANZ, Westpac, NAB and Commonwealth Bank or Defence Bank ATMs, and we recommend that you use hand sanitiser before and after using an ATM.
