An app update packed full of handy new features.

Defence Bank today has released its latest app update which includes a host of exciting new features designed to make banking online easier for our members anytime, any day.

NEW features include:

Quick Balance

  • Save time and view the balance of a nominated account, without having to log on to the Defence Bank app. This is an optional feature which you can turn off and on.

Overseas Travel Planner

  • Log your overseas travel plans through the Defence Bank app and request to be contacted by a Defence Bank consultant regarding overseas money, cash passport and travel insurance.  

Card Alerts

  • As an added security feature, you can now set up transaction alerts to a nominated card via your app notifying you whenever your account has been credited or debited. This is an optional feature which you can turn off and on.


  • Now you can search and view your eStatements using your app

Update Address and Contact details

  • Members can now update their address and contact details through their app without having to visit a branch or call our Contact Centre

Transaction Limits

  • Lower your transaction limit for internal transfers, external transfers and bill payments by simply selecting Settings/ Transaction Limits within the app.
    Members will need to visit a branch or call our Contact Centre should they wish to increase their transaction limit.

Insurance and Product Pages

  • Introduction of quick links to Defence Banks Insurance and Product pages found under the Settings menu

Timeout Settings

  • Now you can adjust the amount of time before the app logs you out after inactivity. This feature is set to 4 minutes by default and Members can always log out before this time using the Log Out button.

Loan Features

  • Selecting your loan will display further information about the product such as payment amounts and due dates.

Plus additional quality of life enhancements and bug fixes.
