As a part of this commitment, we’ve partnered with market research agencies GALKAL and insync to conduct a body of independent research on our behalf. We’d like to know what we do well and what we could do better. The research aims to unlock goals, pain points and key moments of truth across our member's bank and military journey so that we can provide better value in our products and services as our members progress through their various life stages. This research forms one of the pillars of our member experience transformation program Xcelerate.
 
Over the coming months you may be contacted by either GALKAL or insync via email and asked to participate in a web based survey. We invite you to participate in this online study and share your thoughts on your experience as a member of Defence Bank. Your valuable views and insights will help us shape the future of Defence Bank.

A simpler faster way to pay is here!

You can now start using the faster, simpler and smarter way to pay and get paid with Defence Bank. With the New Payments Platform (NPP) and PayID, you can send and receive money almost instantly, without needing to remember your BSB and account number.

To register your own PayID simply:

  • Login to your Online Banking or Mobile Banking App
  • Select 'Manage PayID' under the accounts menu

Defence Bank Foundation News 

 The Defence Bank Foundation is proud to support Defence Community Dogs, an organisation that rescues abandoned dogs and extensively trains them to become Companion Therapy Dogs to assist Veterans coping with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

 Each Defence Community Dog is carefully assessed before being accepted into the program and is then trained to the level of ‘Advanced Companion Therapy Dog’. 

April saw the latest batch of Companion Therapy Dog graduates, and it is safe to say that after hundreds of hours of training the dogs were ready and waiting to meet their new veterans!

Notice to Members - Election of Directors

In accordance with Defence Bank’s constitution, suitably qualified and experienced members are invited to nominate for election as a non-executive director.
 
An   information   pack  outlining   eligibility,  qualifications,  skills and experience as well as the nominations process is available by contacting the Risk and Compliance Department on 03 8624 5835.

Nominations are to be lodged and received by the Company Secretary no later than 4.30pm (AEST) on Tuesday, 3 July 2018.
