Defence Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Lahiff to its Board. Paul will commence a three-year term on 19 January 2026 in a Director role.
Paul brings more than forty years of experience in banking and finance, having held senior leadership roles including Chair of UBank, Cuscal, and New Payments Platform Australia, as well as Managing Director positions with Heritage Building Society, Permanent Trustee, and Mortgage Choice. He currently Chairs NESS Super, Harmoney P/L, the ISO 20022 Migration Steering Committee, the Advanced Encryption Standard Steering Committee, and Simplicity Commercial Broking P/L.
Paul will serve on Defence Bank’s Risk and Compliance Committee and Governance and Remuneration Committee, contributing his deep expertise in governance, risk management, and strategic oversight.
