Our Visa Debit cards are changing

Since our camo Visa Debit card designs (Army, Navy, AirForce, and camo pink) first launched back in August 2017, we’ve issued thousands of cards to our members. With the most popular design always being our camo pink!

After listening to your feedback, it’s time for a fresh new look and feel. Here’s what’s changing:

Phase 1 - Switching to an eco-friendly card base

Our Visa Debit and credit cards are now made with up to 82% recycled PVC, reducing environmental impact. As cards are being renewed and replaced, these eco-friendly cards are now ordered.

You may have already noticed the recycled percentage printed on the back of newer cards.

Phase 2 - Updating card designs

We have worked very hard to create new designs that keep the original camo style:

Vertical orientation – No embossing means more creative layouts

Flat print cards – We listened to your feedback about the durability of our current cards. This change is more durable and easier to read than foil embossing

Generic card refresh – A bold, darker background with our logo front and center

Mobile apps & digital wallets – Horizontal orientation with card number visible on the front.

Internet Banking – Changes consistent with mobile channels

Phase 3 - Rolling out the new designs - what’s next?

You will notice changes from 3 December in your mobile app, with physical cards and other updates rolling out from January 2026. Please note your cards will only be replaced when they expire or are lost/stolen/damaged.

What’s not changing?

If you currently hold a generic orange Visa Debit card you will not experience any immediate changes. It is important to note that the color of your generic orange card may vary over time.
