Defence Community Dogs tour Canberra.

Thursday 29 May, the Defence Bank Foundation’s Defence Community Dogs (DCD) toured Canberra to bring awareness to the program and highlight its benefits on veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The day was a big success with veterans and their DCD dogs and DCD Dog Training Manager Teneka Priestly explaining the program to many within the Australian Defence Force and local media, including WIN News Canberra, ABC News and Canberra Times.

Tails were wagging as the tour visited each Defence Bank branch location, including Russell, Duntroon, Campbell Park, ADFA and a training demonstration and fundraising BBQ at Brindabella Business Park.
