As soon as 1 July ticks over, tax returns are at the top of our to-do list. And gathering receipts, documents and statements can be a giant hassle if you don’t know where to look.
The good news is we have made it really easy for our members to access their EOFY information anywhere, anytime through our app and Online Banking.
Where to look?
Your EOFY interest and tax summary is the first page of your June statement, available from early July.
Here you will see precisely how much interest you have incurred and made across each account, including loans and transaction accounts, for the previous financial year.
Handy tip: Your EOFY tax info is automatically sent to the ATO, meaning it’ll be included as pre-fill info in your tax return.
How to get your statements.
Via the app.
- Login to the Defence Bank app.
- Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the dashboard screen.
- Select 'Manage Accounts' and then ‘View eStatements’.
- Select the account you’d like the eStatement for or select ‘All’ to view the most recent statements.
Via Online Banking.
- Login to Online Banking via our website.
- Tap on ‘Services’ and select ‘View eStatements’.
- Select the account you’d like the eStatement for or select ‘All’ to view the most recent statements.
