Domestic travel.

Choose your cover.

With Domestic Comprehensive and Domestic Cancellation plans, we offer cover if you’re travelling away from home and something unexpected happens, and means you need to rearrange or cancel your trip (like if you get sick while you're away).

When you choose Domestic Comprehensive, we also offer cover for:

  • Luggage and personal belongings
  • Rental car insurance excess
  • Travel delays
  • Additional travel and accommodation expenses.

This cover has limits and exclusions, so read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for full details of what’s covered.

Save time if you’re a regular traveller.

If you travel Australia a lot, you can choose a domestic multi-trip policy and simplify your travel insurance.

You get cover for a year of travel in Australia, and you can pick a maximum duration limit for all your trips. The shorter your trips, the cheaper your policy.

You won’t have to get a new policy every time you travel, and you can travel as much as you like during the year (as long as each trip is less than the maximum duration limit you chose).

We have a range of plans to suit your travel needs. Our annual multi-trip plans give you the flexibility to travel without the need to take a new policy for every trip. Whether you are planning just one trip this year or several, we have a travel insurance plan to suit your needs. Our International Comprehensive Plan and Domestic Comprehensive Plan are available in a Single Trip or an Annual Multi-Trip policy.

The Annual Multi-Trip option gives you the convenience of taking out just one policy with the flexibility of being able to travel as many times as you like throughout the year.

Travel Insurance Plan options.

Our Annual multi-trip:

  • Gives you year round cover to destinations that are over 250 km from your home.
  • Gives you year round cover to destinations that are less than 250km from home, if your trip includes at least one night of paid accommodation (like in a hotel or Airbnb).
  • The option to choose how long your policy’s for. You can choose 30, 45 or 60 days on the International Comprehensive Plan, or 15 or 30 days on the Domestic Comprehensive Plan.

Claim online now through our easy 5-step process:

  1. Describe the incident
  2. Enter your expenses or losses
  3. Upload any supporting documents
  4. Provide your bank details
  5. Review and finalise your claim

You can save and return to an incomplete claim for up to 28 days.

Once you've lodged your claim, we'll update you on how it's progressing within 10 working days.
