How do I open a savings account or term deposit through the app?
Open a new savings account, everyday account, or term deposit is quick and hassle-free by following these easy steps:
- Log in to the Defence Bank app.
- From the ‘Main Menu’, select ‘Products’ then ‘Open Account’.
- Tap on the account type you would like to open and hit ‘Select’.
- From here, enter the details for your new account including the ‘Account name’, the account you would like your deposit to come from, and how much your opening deposit will be.
- Select ‘Open Account’ when you are happy to proceed, following the prompts to finalise your new account.
