Can I change the term of my term deposit?
Not during the current term.
Once a term deposit has commenced, the agreed term is fixed and cannot be changed until maturity.
If you would like to select a different term for the next investment period, you can provide instructions to Defence Bank before maturity and we will process the change at maturity.
Tip: You can also redeem the funds to a Defence Bank account at maturity and open a new term deposit online for your preferred term.
